    The New York State ID has a bar code so you would need the ID-E-02 or ID-E-03 in order to read them. The ID-E-01 reads magnetic stripes only.

  • Yes, it will. South Carolina is a state with magnetic stripe driving licenses, and is therefore compatible with the ID-E-01 Scanner.

  • The North Dakota ID has a 2D bar code only so you should use the ID-E-02 or ID-E-03 scanner with barcode reader. Our ID-E-01 reads magnetic stripes IDs only.

  • The pictures show the unit displaying only age, DOB, and expiration date. However, in the description, it states that it also displays name and address. where does it display name and address?
  • When swiping the ID, the screen will display the most important information to review: The age of the customer, the date of birth and the expiration date of the ID. Then, by pressing the bottom arrow, you will be able to scroll down and review any other information contained into the magnetic stripe (name, address, etc.)
